ALBERT EINSTEIN

by

Michael Tinney

Here is one of the many people who overcame the odds of being  confronted by a learning disability.  This person was Albert Einstein.

Albert Einstein suffered from dyslexia.  Dyslexia is a disability that makes people have a hard time with reading.  It was extremely challenging because people did not have the special help that they do today.

He could not speak until the age of three.  He had a hard time in math.  He quit high school at 15 to move to Italy with his family.  They had to move their electrical business to Italy.

Albert Einstein was very smart.  He was so smart he created the famous equation  E= mc2.  This is called the theory of relativity.  He won the Nobel Prize in 1922 for physics.  Even though he did not participate or invent the atomic bomb, his theory made the foundation for the atomic bomb.

It encourages me to know that someone so smart like Albert Einstein could have a learning disability.
